What We Are Looking For
Ability to follow recipes accurately. Maintain food preparation processes such as cooking, marinating, seasoning, and grilling meats. Chopping, dicing, cutting, and slicing various types of produce and vegetables.
- Complete hot and cold food preparation assignment accurately, neatly, and in a timely fashion.
- Prepare food throughout the day as needed, anticipating and reacting to customer volume.
- Maintain appropriate portion control and consistently monitoring food levels on the line.
- Adhere to proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards while preparing and cooking food.
- Work as a team with others by helping as needed or requested.
- Be able to adapt to changing customer volume levels with a sense of urgency.
- Have the ability to demonstrate a complete understanding of the menu.
- Be able to follow instructions for recipes and sanitation guidelines.

ResponsibilitiesServe patrons by providing information to help food and beverage selections. Present ordered choices. Maintain dining ambiance.
Job Duties
- Prepare room for dining by clothing tables and setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils.
- Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
- Help patrons select food and beverages by presenting menu. Offer cocktails and appetizers, suggest courses, explain the chef’s specialties. Identify appropriate wines, answer food preparation questions.
- Serve orders by picking up and delivering patrons’ choices from bar and kitchen. Deliver accompaniments and condiments from service bars.
- Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed. Replenish utensils, refill water glasses, be alert to patron spills or other special needs.
- Deliver bill and payment to host person. Return change or credit card and signature slip to patrons.
Basic math skills, verbal communication, customer service, high energy level, professionalism.
